Acting out Jemima Puddleduck

This is Lewis pretending to be the fox reading over his newspaper. And, he has Beau pretending to be Jemima Puddleduck, sitting on her eggs in her nest.

All by himself!!!

Lewis wrote his name tonight all by himself! He has done it a few times before when he's looking at it and copying. This time, he just wrote it all by himself! :-) Clever thing!

"Quiet time" woes

Oh my stinking goodness...literally!
Here are the gory details.

Lewis has been a great little napper. Last month was totally consistent with good, long naps. Last week, they all of a sudden stopped happening.

He's been good about staying in his room quietly and entertaining himself. The trouble is, that entertainment has come at a serious cost.

He has broken his blinds (really broken so we'll have to replace his custom, wooden blinds). He ripped the paint off his radiator. He broke the strap that latches his guard rail to the bed and lost part of it. And now today...ugh!

Apparently, he went poo in his naptime diaper and took it off right away to throw it away (nothing really on his bum...he must have taken it off quickly). But, before doing so, he thought he'd get a little artistic. GROSS!!!

It was already dried when I came in.

YUCK!

Don't even pretend your job is harder than mine. ;-)

Beau - Twinkle

Beau is singing the cutest version of Twinkle, Twinkle these days. It's a combo of twinkle with abcd and some "woompie, woompie" mixed in!
