A sitter!!!

Oh my wow - this baby is the CUTEST!

I have never had a sitter. Lewis and Beau both learned to sit basically exactly on their 6 month birthday. For both, within 2 days, they had learned to crawl and to pull themselves up and cruise along everywhere. It was amazing.

All the moms I know talk about the sitting stage as being the best thing ever. They just sit there, stay put, are happy and entertained but can't get into trouble. It all sounded amazing, but I have never known this elusive sitting stage.

But David...he sits!!! It's phenomenal! I love it!!! And oh, is he ever cute about it!!!

I realize this will not last forever. But, every time I see him push up to his hands and knees, I pick him up quickly and snuggle him. No need to try and rush that. :-)

These blocks belonged to Uncle Scott. They were passed down to the girls, and then passed on to us. I love that and them all the people who played with them and this baby. :-)

This is how these two went to bed last night!

Beau is always one costume after another. This one surfaced just after dinner. Lewis followed suit! He quickly disappeared and came back with the paper "goggles" after I told him he couldn't sleep in swimming goggles. He's always one project after another.
