Primary program

Just a little slice! Lewis normally doesn't sing as much, but loves doing the actions. Beau was so good the whole program long. But, he was SO excited to get up there that he seemed to have expended all his energy and was exhausted by halfway through!!! So cute!

Mike and I went to a Deepavali party for work at Mike's VP's home who is Indian. It was fabulous!

The boys got to wear their new Diwali outfits to church and to their school celebration. Too cute for words!

This might be my most favorite thing I've ever done as a mother!

Lewis asks to do laundry every morning when he first wakes up. And Beau loves setting the table. Life is good! :-)

Darling Beau!

This cute boy ran out with me quickly just before bedtime to try to find something that had fallen off our stroller when we had been out earlier. He is such a darling little buddy, just holding my hand, skipping along, so excited to be out at night! In his Halloween shirt and underpants no less...because why not! ;-)

We have a walker!!!

Cute David decided to take a couple steps for the first time right before his 1st birthday. But, he didn't seem to be too interested and we thought it might take him a while. Today he decided to go for distance! Such a sweet little thing and very happy with his new skill! :-)

Star of the week!

Beau was the star of the week for last week, which meant he got to bring home the class panda and play with him all weekend long! Here are some of the photos we put in his class journal to report back!

First Day of School

The boys were excited!

I didn't let them see my tears as the bus drove off. Oh my sweet boys!!! I can't believe how cute and grown up they look and that they'll be gone all day!

A sitter!!!

Oh my wow - this baby is the CUTEST!

I have never had a sitter. Lewis and Beau both learned to sit basically exactly on their 6 month birthday. For both, within 2 days, they had learned to crawl and to pull themselves up and cruise along everywhere. It was amazing.

All the moms I know talk about the sitting stage as being the best thing ever. They just sit there, stay put, are happy and entertained but can't get into trouble. It all sounded amazing, but I have never known this elusive sitting stage.

But David...he sits!!! It's phenomenal! I love it!!! And oh, is he ever cute about it!!!

I realize this will not last forever. But, every time I see him push up to his hands and knees, I pick him up quickly and snuggle him. No need to try and rush that. :-)

Beau is always one costume after another. This one surfaced just after dinner. Lewis followed suit! He quickly disappeared and came back with the paper "goggles" after I told him he couldn't sleep in swimming goggles. He's always one project after another.
